Prototype board has VGA port as shown in Fig. 1. This makes possible to generate signals driving a monitor. Colours are coded with 1 bit - so it is possible to display 8 colours including black and white. High logic level highlights the respective colour.

Despite the colours, vertical and horizontal synchronization signals have to be generated. Timings of synchronization signals is shown in Fig. 2.
